On my actual front cover, I will have my models further up the page, so that their eyes are a third from the top op the page. As a result it will be easier for the reader to relate to the people on the cover. As a result of this the models may cover the mast head slightly. This will show the models power as they are at the very front on the page and not even the mast head is covering them, however I will ensure that this does not make the mast head unreadable. Also on my real front cover, I will make sure that the slanted heading to the right does not cover the second model as much so they have a bigger sense of masculinity and they are shown to the reader with no obstructions. I have tilted this heading to make it look more informal, so that it relate to the reader more. On this heading I have used the mast head colour and font on two of the words. The first on the word "exclusive." This makes it stand out more and appeal to the reader as it is eye catching. I have also done this to the word "epic," as this is a strong adjective and it will be even stronger if it is bigger and in a different colour to the rest of the text.
The reader will be drawn in by the mention of the bands I have put at the top of the page, and as a result they will want to read the magazine and see what stories there are about these bands. Also the use of a logo gives the reader a sense of familiarity and it is something they will associate with the magazine in future editions. The logo means exactly the same as the title of the magazine meaning it is easily understood and again it has a sense of familiarity and representation of the magazine. I will have the models dressed in cloths that my target audience, the 'Rah's' wear so they feel similar to the models and this will influence them to like them.
I have a main colour scheme of green, yellow and white. By having these as the only standing out colours on the page, this gives the reader a sense of familiarity and by having only a few colours the page isn't to busy and it is more appealing. In my actual front cover the shirt worn by the model will be a lot duller colour than the one i have drawn. I have used a circle in the bottom left corner to advertise a story within the magazine. It looks like a sticker, and as a result looks more informal and it is appealing to the reader. It is black, with white writing making it stand out and clear to the reader. At the top I have written "Britons biggest and best music magazine as voted by you." By using the word "you" the reader feels more involved and part of the magazine also this word is in capitals to enhance it. It is addressing the reader and is in an informal font to make it seem like the reader is being spoken to.

My contents page, is very simple and easy to read. This makes it easier for the reader to find what they are looking for. I have used picture to show what is on some of the pages, a picture can give a better and more in depth explanation to what is on the page rather than word. Plus it is a lot more appealing than lots of text. The colour scheme has agian been carried on, on this page and the main heading is very large to clearly indicate what is on the page.
